The blaze that burned near the Innu community of Natuashish in Labrador was sparked by accident by a group of teenagers who started a fire to warm themselves up after swimming in the popular swimming hole near the airport. The fire spread so rapidly that the teenagers narrowly escaped with their lives. The fire burned for several days and halted flights to the local airport. |
