[The Environment Canada accident report states that 13 rail cars derailed, releasing 200 m? of 50% soda and 100 m? of lubricating oil into the Nicollet River; 75 people were evacuated; an area of 1 km? was contaminated; retrieval of drinking water from the river for 5065 people was interrupted for 10 hours]
