| Comments | Vancouver BC, June 15-16, 2011. Following the loss of game seven in the Stanley Cup finals to the Boston Bruins, Vancouver Canucks fans took to the streets and rioting ensued. There were 140 people taken to hospital with minor injuries while four people sustained serious injuries. Businesses along Robson St. and West Georgia St. were damaged (smashed windows, looting, and vandalism) while cars nearby were set on fire. |
